Harmer Non-Return Valves / Underground Backflow Drains

These non-return (backflow) valves are designed for installation on horizontal sections of pipework in drainage catch pits, both inside and outside buildings.

Increased heavy rainfall events have made flooding from stormwater drains more common.

These valves provide protection against backwater and flooding, safeguarding buildings from the drainage system’s backflow. They operate automatically, allowing free drainage of rainwater according to the slope of the drainage channel while preventing backflow. Additionally, they feature a manually-operated flap closing lever, which can be used during extended periods of absence or when flaps need to be closed.
