NEW Contemporary and Heritage Rooflight Ranges

At Rainclear we’re really pleased to be able to add this range of contemporary and heritage-style rooflights to the website.  Manufactured in the UK and delivered in 5-7 days.

We think we can all agree that bringing natural light into your home is beneficial to your mental and physical wellbeing (exposure to sunlight provides a whole host of mental health benefits) and rooflights allow natural light to enter the home, which will inevitably carry heat through infrared radiation, also helpful in the current energy cost crisis. (The level of heat entering the house is completely dependent on several factors, including the technology used in the rooflight. Adding them to your home is also one way to avoid using electric lighting during the day!

In addition, a roof window that opens is a great way of increasing ventilation in your home. It can act as a passive air conditioner, offering your home that much needed fresh air to help keep it cool. It can also help reduce mildew or mould build-up in areas that are prone to dampness, such as bathrooms.

Skylights can make a room or house feel bigger and more open. This is really beneficial if you are renovating – the added sunlight can help make a small space feel brighter and more cheerful.

What is the difference between skylight, roof window and rooflight?

There is no difference. They are all the same products. We just stick to using the word rooflight’’.

Are skylights high maintenance?

Your skylights require minimal cleaning and maintenance. Their slope, shape, and location allow rain to wash away most of the dirt and dust. Occasionally, you will have to clean both the inside and the outside.

It’s a mission of ours to offer sustainable alternatives to construction, which is why the premium ranges we’ve chosen to offer are made from Aluminium and glass.

Different, opening methods, handles and blinds/shading can also be discussed – So you can really make your rooflights your own!
